Parent Teacher Organization

What is the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)?

The Annsville PTO began in 1956 when the existing school was constructed. Since that time, the PTO has played a continuing and increasingly important role within the school's community.

Over the years, the PTO officers, parents, grandparents, and community members have stepped forward to assist Annsville whenever and wherever needed.  Parents design and construct Annsville's Homecoming Parade Entry and then march with their children alongside the float. Volunteers assist with Pre-K Open House, picture day, book fair, and chaperone our students on the many PTO sponsored field trips.  The PTO supports Annsville's yearly Performing Arts Program.  In addition, the PTO donates $1000.00 to our media center to be used for the purchase of books.

The PTO collaborates with Annsville's faculty and staff to orchestrate the Annual PTO/P.A.R.P carnival, conducts holiday craft days in December and PTO Bingo each March.  Every child attending Bingo leaves with at least one toy or game of his choosing.

Our PTO is a strong and vibrant entity that welcomes members of the school community who are interested in helping to move Annsville forward.  If you are curious in finding out more or want to help, please join us at one of our meetings.
